National broadcasting with TYPO3 The West German Radio Cologne (WDR) is a national institution incorporated under public law (national broadcaster) of North Rhine-Westphalia, that operates radio, television, and related activities. It is also a member of the ARD. The children live radio channel Kiraka, initiated by the WDR in 2006, offers a daily programm from 6:00 clock to 22.00 clock. The young listeners will find on Kiraka everything that also constitutes a good radio program for adults, eg news, music, stories, learning, and in addition the possibility to participate.
